K-Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture is a holistic, non-invasive treatment designed to reduce signs of aging and enhance skin health. Through the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the face, acupuncture stimulates collagen production and promotes improved blood circulation, helping to rejuvenate the skin. Studies have shown that this treatment can help reduce wrinkles, improve skin tone, and promote a more youthful complexion.

Reduces Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Cosmetic acupuncture promotes collagen and elastin production, leading to smoother skin and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

Improves Skin Tone and Texture

Regular acupuncture sessions can enhance circulation, improving the oxygenation and nutrition delivered to the skin, which results in a more even skin tone and smoother texture.

Promotes Skin Health

Cosmetic acupuncture stimulates the natural healing processes in the body, supporting overall skin health and vitality.

Fertility Acupuncture

The path to parenthood can come with its challenges, but acupuncture offers a supportive, holistic approach. Whether you’re trying to conceive naturally or undergoing fertility treatments like IVF, acupuncture has been shown to improve fertility outcomes by addressing both physical and emotional factors that impact fertility.

What is Fertility Acupuncture?

Fertility acupuncture involves placing thin needles at specific points on the body to:

  • Regulate menstrual cycles and support hormone levels
  • Improve blood circulation to the ovaries and uterus
  • Address fertility-related issues such as PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, and
  • hormonal imbalances
  • Reduce stress and
  • Enhance the success of IVF treatments

Treatment Process

During your first consultation, we will discuss your health history, lifestyle, and fertility goals to create a tailored treatment plan. Each session lasts about 30 to 60 minutes, including both the consultation and acupuncture treatment.
Fertility acupuncture is especially helpful for women facing fertility challenges. Whether you aim to regulate your cycle, improve egg quality, or support your IVF journey, acupuncture can be a beneficial and natural complement to your fertility plan.

General Acupuncture for Women

Acupuncture offers a natural and effective way to enhance women’s health at every stage of life. By restoring balance within the body, it can alleviate a wide range of physical and emotional symptoms.

Treatment Process

The treatment begins with an initial consultation where we discuss your health history, lifestyle, and specific concerns such as menstrual health, fertility, or menopause. Based on this, we create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. During each session, fine needles are gently inserted at specific points on your body to help regulate hormones, improve circulation, relieve pain, and promote overall healing. Additional therapies like acupressure or cupping may be used to enhance the effects. Sessions typically last 30 to 60 minutes, and the frequency depends on your condition, with treatments often scheduled once or twice a week. After each session, you may experience relaxation or mild tenderness, but the aftercare is simple—stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activity. Progress is monitored, and the plan is adjusted as needed to ensure the best results.

Meet Dr. Julia Saejin Cho

DR. Julia Cho is a compassionate and dedicated practitioner with a deep passion for helping individuals restore balance between mind, body, and sprit to cultivate optimal health. Guided by the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, Julia focuses on the importance of balancing the body’s yin and yang energies to support holistic well-being.

Healing Roots

Growing up in a family influenced by oriental medicine, Julia was introduced to the concept of using herbal remedies to prevent illness from a young age. Her childhood memories include taking seasonal herbal concoctions based on the 5-element theory, which helped to strengthen her kidneys in winter, cleanse her liver in spring, nourish her heart in summer, and support her lungs in autumn. This early exposure to preventative care through traditional methods sparked a lifelong fascination with holistic healing and natural wellness.

Holistic Focus

Julia’s professional focus includes dermatology, skin care, facial paralysis and women’s health. She has a special interest in cosmetic acupuncture, believing that physical and emotional balance are deeply interconnected. By using a combination of herbal medicine, acupuncture, and personalized wellness strategies, she empowers her clients to achieve healthier, more radiant lives.
With a strong foundation in both ancient wisdom and modern practice, Julia is dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health, prevent illness, and enhance their quality of life.
